Acrylic on wood, various sizes.

When traversing through a time where a pandemic and humanity’s reaction to it shake our very human essence, something completely alters our ways of thinking, understanding, and seeing ourselves. Witnessing experiences of such magnitude, we step into a shift where hope becomes scarce beyond measure. Amidst the stillness that then envelopes everything, hope becomes an artist, your only remaining companion. ‘Tomorrow’ emerges as a profound question, and seeking its answers, there appears no solace other than to be. The comfort in artistry that has always been readily available to vanishes. Without the identity of being, In pursuit of practice, you find yourself at a juncture where the possibility of everything you hold dear is being reduced to dust. But then again, aren’t we’re all essentially stardust? Every physical creation, regardless of its form, has its roots that permeate throughout the universe, beyond life itself, into form. When confronted with this truth, human existence looks illogically trivial.

Perhaps, there appears no other solace ahead. And in all the pictures that emerge before your eyes, you alchemise a way to transcend the weight of existence through contemplation, a method that will be the onlt evident until the imgaery unblurs itself.

This narrative is a personal experience that I want to share with anyone in as much now as I can. If you’re reading this, understand that besides being artworks, these are also a small testament to life.
